New year

I kind of forgot about this blog...but here I am again!

Up much too early. Probably the prednisone. I've had allergy/sinus problems like crazy for the last couple of months. I'm on my FOURTH course of antibiotics. Maybe this will work.

On the other hand...the CPAP device really does work. I'm finally SLEEPING when I go to sleep. Heaven!

Weird weather

We woke up this morning to a HARD freeze. Not unheard of here, but very unusual for this time of year. It's October, for crying out loud! My thermometer read 26, but the airport said 25. Cold either way! We didn't get over 40 until nearly lunchtime, though we've finally reached 55 now. Of course, tonight is our "Fall Festival" at school. We've moved it to 4-6 so it will still MOSTLY be light...but it's still a pain in the neck. I could live without some of our traditions...

New Day

Great news! I just learned that even though I wasn't able to finish the Sleep Study up in Tucson (after THREE tries!) I'm still going to get the CPAP device. This will force air into my nose all night so that my airways won't close up and stop me from breathing (which is what sleep apnea is ALL about...). I am very happy. Maybe I'll actually be able to get some sleep!
